Hey JackHammer here with another video game review, and today we'll be looking the 2nd of the 5 Zelda games I played, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
Now, this is sort of a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time where Link leaves Hyrule and comes across the land of Termina.
First off, I like how this game gives us something different than Ocarina of Time, like giving us a different setting other than Hyrule for a change, Taking out Princess Zelda (only showing her in one flashback), giving us the ability to time travel with only 3 days before the end of the world, possibly some of the coolest masks ever made, and a cool villain outside of Ganondorf (which in this case is Majora's Mask)
Some people might be turned off by the fact that the main plot is shorter than Ocarina of Time with less dungeons and boss battles, but they made up for that with some cool side quests (My favorite side quest would be the one with Anju and Kafei)
They also improved some stuff from the previous game, like Link's ability to jump, the use of Ice Arrows, and of course the companion. Remember in Ocarina of Time when Navi was annoying? Well in here, we get Tatl, who is kinda like Navi but less annoying and more of a smartass, but honestly I think she's funnier that way, and speaking of which, this game might have some of the funniest dialogue in any Zelda game, and that's saying a lot.
But the downsides to this game is that the controls are still sensitive like in the last game, especially when I'm trying to win a shooting gallery which are HARD AS HELL! another problem I have with this game is how they recycled some of the character designs from the previous game and made them into different characters in this game. I mean I know it's an Ocarina of Time sequel but this makes no sense! Another problem I have is the limited use of the Fierce Deity's mask, which is the coolest mask in this game, yet we can only use it for boss battles?! WHAT A LOW!
But aside from that, Majora's Mask is still a great followup to Ocarina of Time, which is why I give it a 9/10!
See ya later guys!

JackHammer's Disney Reviews: Wish
Well guys... this is it... the big one... the real celebration of the centennial of one of the greatest animation studios in the world! Their BIG COMEBACK AFTER STRANGE WOR- oh wait... I'm not gonna lie people, this hurts a little... not exactly because of the movie itself (which I'll get to in a minute), but because of how this was made as a love letter to the 100 year legacy of Disney Animation, only for it to completely crumble at the box office (even getting overshadowed in North America by "Trolls Band Together" of all things! GRRR!), become one of Disney's most polarizing films yet for both critics and audiences, and hardly even get any recognition during award season, not even a single Oscar or Annie nomination! I had so much hope that this would save them after the disastrous previous year, and even Bob Iger tried to help this film the best he could, yet it still wasn't enough... Not to mention the RIDICULOUS hate campaign that seems to come with EVERY ONE OF THEIR new films
My message to moviegoers and buffs
I like to start off by saying that over the past weekend, I actually went and did something that I considered unthinkable for me to do for more than a decade now... I saw the Twilight films... And yes... they're pretty bad... they're stupid, a lot of the decisions the main characters (Bella, Edward and Jacob) make are baffling, they have horrible CG effects, they really give the impression that they were mostly made as eye candy for vampire loving teenage girls to get them in theater seats, and I'm still a tad salty that the whole franchise overshadowed good or even great films like Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Princess and the Frog, and Rise of the Guardians at the box office, but... I wouldn't say watching them at least once was a COMPLETE waste of time. As boring as I found the first two (Twilight and New Moon) for the most part, I did get a bit of enjoyment out of Eclipse for how self-aware it was, and the franchise definitely had it's fair share of moments that were so dumb they
Best Animated Feature Reviews: 2020
Holy s***... Just when we thought the last few years were bad... Thankfully it looks like we reached the beginning of the end of the pandemic (Thank you Joe Biden, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, etc.), but in the meantime, we must continue to keep our distance and keep washing our hands and wearing masks in public even if you're already vaccinated! With that said, it's time to look at the Best Animated Feature nominees once again! Granted, we didn't get as many animated films in 2020 as we could have thanks to the coronavirus, but luckily, a lot of them still managed to be released through streaming services, and we even managed to have quite a solid year for animated features, with a lot of them ranging from solid to amazing. And this years nominees for Best Animated Feature are absolutely no exception! Let's take a look! I have a confession...
While Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are still good in my eyes, my appreciation for them is a bit tainted unfortunately. I can't exactly look at them the same way anymore cause I kinda got into an argument with Vivziepop on Twitter a while back after she criticized Disney when they announced the closing of Blue Sky (Which I thought was unfair cause I always thought the closing of Blue Sky wasn't entirely Disney's fault), I may have went a little too far with it, and she blocked me... I'm trying not to let it get to my head, but it's kinda hard not to think about the incident whenever I watch her stuff or hear someone else talk about her, knowing that she probably hates me now...
